The HY96 Heavy Duty Output Reactor is a high-performance power component engineered for demanding variable frequency drive (VFD) applications, featuring a 2500A current rating and 13.2V voltage rating. Designed to optimize power quality, protect equipment, and ensure stable operation, it stands out with its pure copper foil winding—delivering superior conductivity, heat dissipation, and long-term reliability for industrial VFD harmonic filtering and motor protection.
At the core of its performance is the pure copper foil winding, a key advantage over traditional windings. With a conductivity of approximately 5.96×10S/m, pure copper minimizes electrical resistance, reducing energy loss and improving overall efficiency. Its excellent thermal conductivity (401 W/(m·K)) enables rapid heat dissipation, preventing overheating even during prolonged heavy-duty operation and extending the reactor’s service life. Additionally, copper foil’s high mechanical strength and ductility ensure stable winding structure, mitigating skin effect and eddy current losses common in high-frequency VFD applications.
As a dedicated VFD output reactor, it plays a critical role in filtering harmonic interference generated by VFDs. VFDs produce non-sinusoidal current pulses during AC-DC-AC conversion, leading to harmonic distortion that damages motor insulation, increases noise, and reduces system efficiency. The HY96 effectively suppresses these harmonics, attenuating frequencies across 100Hz–50kHz with exceptional filtering performance, while slowing voltage rise rate (dv/dt) to protect motor windings and reduce bearing current corrosion.
